Important Information about Compliance

Did you know that any building that is not residential needs to submit an Annual Fire Safety Statement?
This means all retail, office, factory, healthcare and commercial buildings etc must forward Annual Fire Safety Statements to Council, to NSW Fire and Rescue and display a copy prominently in the building.

Owners need to be aware of the date on which the Fire Safety Statement must be submitted to Council and make the necessary arrangements for the fire safety measures to be inspected and certified before this due date.   Contact the Fire Safety Team on 9335 2000 or see the Marrickville Council/Fire Safety website for more information.
